Learning to teach the values of peace through football and play!
All nationalities welcome, get away from your desk and get active for peace education!

The Korean Sharing Movement in collaboration with the University of Brighton’s Football 4 Peace International initiative invite you to attend the 4th Korea Football 4 Peace Korea Coach Training at Seoul National University, Rep. of Korea on 9 - 12 August.

F4P Korea strives to engender a peace culture through football & play. Whilst sport often conjures up images of conflict, we believe in its ability to instil in participants values conducive to the pursuit of peace when properly managed. The popularity of sport makes it a great access point to engage with young people who can otherwise be hard to reach. Utilising the unique F4P value based methodology of learning, F4P Korea encourages participants to develop new relationships in and around the neutrality of a sports field. Themes of equity, inclusion, respect, trust, and responsibility are explored through play and experience shows that participants take that with them from the pitch into the web of relationships in their daily lives.

The Football 4 Peace Korea Coach Training provides hands on training in the F4P methodology which can be applied across numerous sports. Instruction will be provided from experienced British and Korean coaches (with translation in both English and Korean) and participants in the camp will practice on each other before delivering sessions to Korean children in a festival at the end of the training. Lectures and discussions concerning sport, conflict and peace will also be provided by practitioners and professors. Upon completion of the training camp participants will earn University of Brighton accredited certification.
