The Peace and Sport International Forum 2010 will be held in the Principality of Monaco from December 1 to 3. For the 4th consecutive year, it will bring together leading decision-makers from sport, politics, the private sector and civil society who wish to put sport at the service of sustainable peace.

Since its launch in 2007, the Peace and Sport International Forum has been increasingly successful.

The event brought together 180 delegates in 2007, 330 in 2008, and 440 in 2009.

Now a major event in the international calendar of sports diplomacy, the Forum seeks to reconcile quality of speakers and diversity of participants, in order to mobilize the largest possible number of actors around a common cause.

The format of the International Forum 2010 has been restructured around three main categories of events:

  • Three one-day training workshops open to grassroots actors, where they can express their specific problems on given themes.
  • Five plenary sessions dedicated to the exchange of experience between high-level panellists and their confrontation of views with the audience. These interactive sessions will help identify ways of cooperation between the various institutions represented.
  • Networking sessions encourage direct interaction between delegates.
