"Tracing the footsteps of Ahmad Yasawi: An urgent need for global understanding, tolerance and solidarity". The conference is a multi-disciplinary discussion platform in sport sciences, cultural studies, education, theology, literature, language, fine arts, and other social disciplines.
The organiser

The International Science Culture and Sports Association (ISCSA) was established in December 2010, and started its activities in 2011. It has members from 17 countries and the headquarters are located in Ankara, Turkey.

The conference
Nowadays both regional and global conflicts are getting even stronger, and world peace is facing serious threats. In such a context and as a result of UNESCO's declaration of 2016 as the Ahmad Yasawi Year, we have decided to choose Turkistan, Kazakhstan, the birthplace of Ahmad Yasawi, as the destination of our conference, and fixed the title as, "Tracing the footsteps of Ahmad Yasawi: An urgent need for global understanding, tolerance and solidarity".

In our conference, we will not only be focused on the life and teachings of Ahmad Yasawi, but also create a multi-disciplinary discussion platform in sport sciences, cultural studies, education, theology, literature, language, fine arts, and other social disciplines. Therefore, you are welcome to submit any kinds of presentation proposals, both oral and poster, in any of the above fields.

As a tradition of our conferences, we want to establish a dynamic platform with workshops, panels, lectures, interviews, individual and group performances, cultural visits, and many other activities. Within this frame, we are open and definitely welcome to evaluate any demands, suggestions, and contributions from individual participants and partner associations.

All the full texts of presented articles will be published voluntarily in a special issue of our journal, International Journal of Science Culture and Sport (IntJSCS), which is covered by many international indexes and assigns a doi number to each separate article.

Conference registration deadline: 15 March 2016
