ASPIRE is an international collaborative project, delivered by the European Non Government Sports Organisation and co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The prime aim of ASPIRE is to identify opportunities for migrants and refugees to integrate into their new communities using sport and physical activity.

On Friday, 14 June we are bringing together key stakeholders and decision-makers across Europe to raise awareness of the added value of sport in promoting the social inclusion of migrants and refugees.

The conference is relevant for: those people who are senior officers and decision makers in government and sports organisations, experts in the field of migration and integration, and practitioners in sport, physical activity and social inclusion.

 This interactive conference will:

  • Share the project results, conclusions and recommendations of the ASPIRE project
  • Provide evidence-based information and practical tools for working with vulnerable people, especially refugees
  • Facilitate exchange and strengthen partnership networking on sport for refugees
  • Address the actions of the Call to Action on Sport for Refugees
  • Register for the conference here
