Beyond Sport Summit

This year’s Beyond Sport Summit will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from 5-8 December 2011. The international annual event includes speeches, workshops, discussion panels and opportunities for networking. Attending the Summit to address how sport can make a positive difference in communities everywhere, are experts from government, development, business, philanthropy and sports.
On the last day of the Summit, the winners of the 2011 Beyond Sports Award will be announced

Beyond Sport was founded by Nick Keller as a global organisation, which aims to promote, develop and support the use of sport for positive social change all around the globe. The Beyond Sport Awards, the Beyond Sport Summit and the Beyond Sport World, an online networking platform, form the three main channels through which the Beyond Sport organisation operates. Just recently, Beyond Sport unveiled a new event, Beyond Sport United, which will be held for the first time on 27 September 2011.
