Beyond Sport Summit & Awards 2016
Since 2009, teams, leagues, federations, brands, corporates, NGOs and development organisations have been gathering to share best practice, celebrate outstanding efforts and develop new partnerships.
The event has been hosted around the world; from Chicago to Cape Town to Johannesburg and Philadelphia and now, in 2016, the global Beyond Sport Summit & Awards returns to its debut location: London.
Each year, we focus the Summit on something timely – a theme that captures something relevant, current and urgent in our world where sport can and should be playing a role. Introducing #BeyondInnovation.
Sport has always uncovered new ways to test the edge of human performance and has harvested a culture of pushing the boundaries of what’s possible; while the cause sector has enveloped itself in technology, using it to engage more people, have a wider impact, measure and share on a deeper level.
This year at Beyond Sport we are taking this opportunity head on. Over three days we will focus on how innovation is elevating sport and social change.

Delegates will visit specially selected projects from around the city as they showcase their unique methods of using sport and technology to create social change.

Welcome reception and drinks.
Help us kick off the Beyond Sport Summit with a drink and network with a wide range of inspirational delegates from around the world.

Special sessions: Innovation, Sport and Social Change
Half and full-day events hosted by industry experts and partners on the new ways sport is engaging with key issues such as the environment, health, disability, major events and their legacy.
Beyond Sport Awards, supported by Comic Relief.

Join us for a fun filled evening to celebrating the best and brightest projects and individuals across the world using sport as a tool for social change.

Innovation Hub
The final day of the Beyond Sport Summit 2016 will be unlike it has ever been before.
The Innovation Hub will have attendees engaging across a variety of different Zones, each providing stimulating and exciting sessions on sport, technology and social cause. Additionally, at specially scheduled times throughout the day, industry experts will be hosting inspirational talks and debates at the centre of the hub.
