Conference: How Can International and European Sport Organisations Activate Citizens

Join the partners of the INTERACT Project to debate the role of international sport organisations in the development and promotion of sport for all.

Wed, 01/26/2022

When: 26 January 2022, 1.00pm – 2.30pm CET

The world is changing. As levels of participation in sport and physical activity are dropping and social, economic, and health issues are on the rise, International and European Sport Organisations (ISOs) can play a crucial role to inspire more people to be active and contribute to sustainable development, leaving a positive legacy to the next generations.

The INTERACT Project develops a sustainable and socially responsible approach to sport, which places citizens and their needs and expectations at the centre of Sport for All and physical activity delivery.

The INTERACT opening conference will showcase this approach in an open exchange with participants, and release the first outputs of the project, including a study report on ISOs opportunities, challenges, needs and expectations to promote sport for all, already available online here

The free conference is hosted by TAFISA and project partners.

The programme will feature addresses from the European Commission's Sport Unit, ITTF Foundation, International Fistball Association and TAFISA.
