International panelists and experts from Poland, Russia, Ukraine, the Netherlands, the UK and Germany will also contribute to meaningful debates around sport activism of the LGBT community, fighting homophobia, transphobia and sexism and breaking the glass ceilings in sport.
Lectures, discussions, workshops and roundtables will also address topics including: the rights of children and young people in sports; homophobia in Polish sport; gender discrimination in endurance sports; inequality and women’s participation in sport; and the biopolitics of sports.
On 7 and 8 March, the LGBT sports federation will hold their annual general assembly to discuss and further their work in tackling harassment, discrimination and prejudice and highlighting the visibility of LGBT people in sport.
