In anticipation of the 2015 Cop 21 climate talks in Paris, the Guardian is hosting a live online Q&A to encourage an exchange of ideas on the role that sport, music, art, film and fashion play in drawing broader attention to climate issues.

Given the increase in non-traditional forms of raising awareness and inspiring action on climate change, the Guardian has gathered a panel of experts to discuss these different approaches. Paul Hunt from the sportanddev Operating Team will sit on the panel of experts for the live Q&A discussion, which will take place on Thursday 22 January 2015 from 1-3pm GMT on the Guardian website.

Some of the questions that will be discussed include: do prominent athletes and artists have a duty to lead by example and go green themselves? How can policymakers use climate and sport to promote changes in behaviour, and should these more creative methods feature in Cop 21 discussions?
