IOC Congress 2009

The purpose of the Congress is to analyse the Olympic Movement's strengths and weaknesses, and to evaluate the opportunities and risks it faces.

The last Olympic Congress was held in 1994. This year's Congress will examine the role of the Olympic Movement in society and across the world.

UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki Moon will be giving the keynote address.
