Sport For Smile Select: Sports and the LGBT community
Sport For Smile is hosting SFS Select to feature "LGBT and Sports". The event will welcome Ms. Maki Muraki, the representative director of Nijiiro Diversity and recent recipient of the Google Impact Challenge Award.
Nijiiro Diversity will discuss the place of the LGBT community within modern sport. The event will also introduce actions taken by top-athletes, sports teams and leagues, sponsors, and by the Olympic Movement that have supported the LGBT community. This will be followed by a panel discussion where Thomson Reuters senior director and former global sports brand CSR expert will share best practice and demonstrate how far Japan should go toward 2020 and beyond.
