Join SportWorks to discuss how sport events can be planned in a cost-effective manner.

When: 18 May, 11am - 12pm CEST

Logistics is a crucial part of sport events, in any scale. However, if not well planned, it can be a source of either big headaches or budget waste. And specially when it comes to cost-effectiveness, some organisers are not even aware that they are loosing money. But are there simple tips that can help sport event organisers to plan logistics in an cost-effective way?

This is the guiding question of the upcoming SportWorks ANSWERS, with two leaders from DB Schenker, a leading business in global logistics solution & supply chain: Anja Schweickert, Regional Manager Europe for Sports Events, and Martin Ritter, Head of Fairs, Events & Special Logistics – and also the Head of logistics of the recent Youth Olympic Games Lausanne 2020.

The event will be hosted by Christiaan Page, founder of Legacy Sport, who has led the teams responsible for delivering the “Games Technology Ecosystem” at least six Olympic Games. A fertile space where all involved in the sports events pipeline, from Federations to organising committees and sport organisations, will be able to share and clarify their doubts.

This is a free online event. Registration required as places are limited.
