Uniting the World of Sports to Champion Sustainability
The European sports industry is gearing up for the challenge of our times: climate change. How can sports lead the way when it comes to sustainable behaviour?
With the recent Sport for Climate Action Framework, sport is seen by political leaders around the world as a means for change. Join us to hear from experts from UEFA, IOC, the Golf Environment Organisation and the WWF who will discuss hot topics such as plastics waste and carbon footprinting and introduce what their organisations do to advance the sports greening movement. They will provide insights into European sports and their experience with challenges and opportunities on how sports can play the game together against climate change. Speakers include:
- Moderator: Nevena Vukasinovic | Sr Account Executive of Sports, Burson Cohn & Wolfe
- Julie Duffus | Olympic Movement Sustainability Manager, IOC
- Patrick Gasser | Head of Social Responsibility, UEFA
