Workshop on Sport for Youth in Post-Disaster Settings
Sport has in the past decade supported traditional relief efforts during and after disasters enhancing psychosocial recovery among children and youth.
The aim of the workshop is to introduce humanitarian relief- and development organizations on how to, on a low budget, use sport and play as a systematic approach to reach high impact on the most vulnerable groups after a disaster.
The International Network of Sport and Development Consultants (INSDC) have worked with key humanitarian and sport organisations in Eastern Europe, Africa, Asia and South America, and based on this experience been part of developing a toolkit on Sport for Youth in Post-Disaster Settings.
