CAFE is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer to lead its strategic direction, in order to meet objectives and to ensure that the charity continues to operate within a framework of effective governance.

CAFE is a registered charity in London and The Hague, with key aims and objectives of ensuring that football and other live sporting events are fully accessible and inclusive for all disabled fans. In 2021, CAFE had an annual turnover of over £800,000.

CAFE works closely with our partners at UEFA, FIFA and other key stakeholders to promote improved access and inclusion for disabled people across football. Using the game’s unique power, we celebrate the many roles disabled people can play within football, including as spectators, players, volunteers, coaches, administrators, leaders and decision makers.

Whilst predominately operating in football, CAFE is developing its workload in other sports on a global basis.

CAFE is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community. All appointments will be made based on merit.

CAFE Managing Director Joanna Deagle said, "After six years at the helm of CAFE, I have now decided that the time is right for a change of direction and accordingly I will be leaving the organisation at the end of the year".

"I have greatly enjoyed my time with CAFE, and value the friendship of colleagues past and present, and so many like-minded people across the world. There are hugely exciting times ahead for CAFE, and it goes without saying that I will continue to look out for the incredible work that the team undertakes on behalf of disabled sports fans and other stakeholders", added Joanna.
