The opportunity to work on football projects in Germany. Deadline: 17 January 2017

The DFB Foundation Egidius Braun was established in 2001 by the German Football Association (DFB). It is involved in a range of projects and initiatives on five key topic areas in Germany, Europe and the rest of the world.

In Germany, the foundation is particularly involved in football holiday camps. Every year, it invites 75 football clubs to camps, with around 1,000 young people participating. Meanwhile, the focus of the Egidius Braun Summer Academies, another project, is primarily empowering young people who volunteer in organised football. The foundation is looking to strengthen its team in its office in Hennef (Sieg), Germany, as soon as possible.

Fulltime project manager (40 hours per week, German-speaking)

Your task as the new project manager will be the operational implementation of the football holiday camps. The programme will be implemented from July to September at six locations, with a total of 18 one-week slots. The on-site implementation is carried out by a team of around 60 temporary employees. In addition, your tasks will include the implementation of the Challenge Academy, a German-Ukrainian youth exchange that the foundation implements with the Klitschko Foundation, as well as the implementation of the Egidius Braun Summer Academies. The role also includes general administrative and organisational tasks.
