About the Football Foundation

Established in 2000, the Football Foundation is one of the largest sports charities in the World. It is a partnership between the Premier League, The FA and the Government, who between them contribute more than £60 million per year towards the development of football facilities across the country.

The role

The Insight Support Officer will support the Knowledge and Insight team in collecting, cleansing, reporting and analysing data gathered from our grantees and grant management systems. The post holder will play a key contact role with applicants and grantees to ensure a high level of validity in the data that is collected. The role will work across a number of departments that collect grant data and will  accounts for our online grant monitoring tool Upshot as well as ensure reports are compiled and distributed to the Grant Management team for key meetings. 

The post holder will be working amongst a team of five to facilitate a vital function within the Football Foundation to capture and utilise valuable data management and grant based information. 

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a relevant subject and be capable of learning to use new bits of software and learning on the job. 

We are looking for someone who has a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for data management. They will need to work quickly and accurately with a wide range of data sets and be confident in challenging grant applicants where they notice errors. They will be able to work well both independently and within a team. 

The post holder will have a strong working knowledge of excel and other data management applications as well as be able to demonstrate good customer service.
