If you are a Kenyan young professional looking to kick start your career and you have great sales and marketing skills, but you also feel like what you sell needs to make sense and create a better society, then this internship is what you are looking for. Read more below and in the attachments and send us your candidacy!

Founded in 2008 in Santiago de Chile, we have grown into an international Sport for Development NGO with presence in 8 countries: Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Haiti, Paraguay, Mexico, France and Kenya. Every week about 9,500 children participate in our programmes in challenging environments throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and now for the first time Africa. We're a social and community-based programme using football as a vehicle for social change and happiness. One of our founders was recently voted Social Entrepreneur of the Year in Chile! For more information visit our website.

In Kenya we work in two communities of Nairobi, one in Mathare and one in Kibera. In each community a team of one physical education or sports professional and one social professional (psychologist, social worker or related careers) implement the programme. As a duo they lead the Fútbol Más sessions and activities.

We are currently receiving candidacies for internship positions for young professionals in their third or fourth year of their bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, public relations or related careers with a passion for football, social innovation and/or community work.

You will get the opportunity to take active part in our commercial strategy, the only condition is to think local and dream big!

This internship (approximately 3 months) is a great opportunity for you if you:

  • Are looking to learn about a global award-winning organisation and methodology to use sports to teach children and bring communities together
  • Get a hands-on experience with lots of room for personal input and discovery on commercial strategies around the question: “How do I market a product that is an award-winning sport for development programme?
  • Are flexible and dynamic, not afraid to go from a sports activity in a community field to a meeting with a corporate CEO
  • Are able to think outside the box and dream out loud, while building on the experience and ideas of the rest of the team
  • Are open to learn and invest in yourself to be challenged each day of your internship with us

If you are interested to be part of our team in these historic steps of Fútbol Más on the African continent, send us your CV and cover letter to [email protected].
