The German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) is looking for someone to support the impact measurement of their Sport for Development projects.

The GIZ supports the federal government in achieving its goals in international cooperation for sustainable development. GIZ operates worldwide. As a GIZ employee, you are ready to work internationally and are happy to pass on your know-how.

The Sport for Development approach combines elements of sport education and youth psychology in order to impart values, competencies (“life skills”) and knowledge through sport activities. The aim is to support development goals in areas such as education, health, inclusion, peace building and displacement through sport. The “Sport for Development” sector project is being implemented by GIZ on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and will run until September 2022. The project implements measures together with local partners, particularly in Colombia, Indonesia, the Western Balkans, Uganda, Morocco and Tunisia.

The Impact Measurement consultant will participate in the implementation of impact studies on children and adolescents on the impact of sport in different sectoral and country contexts, as well as support of country teams and local partners in the implementation of the impact and evaluation processes.
