A four to six months internship opportunity to join an international team, for the promotion of Sport for All and Physical Activity.

TAFISA (The Association For International Sport for All) is the leading international Sport for All organisation. We strive to raise awareness about the benefits of sport for all and physical activity. Our vision is to create a better world through Sport for All. We support the promotion of Sport and physical activity through our network of over 300 members across 171 countries, and work with the International Olympic Committee, the European Commission, UNESCO, WHO as well as the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE), among others. 

We look for motivated, autonomous and open-minded students who have an interest in international and team work, and are available for a period of four months minimum, from February-March 2018. The internship must be part of a university curriculum and the applicants registered at university at the time of the internship.
As a project coordinator in the TAFISA Office (Frankfurt am Main, Germany), you will be integrated into various projects that we are currently managing and have the opportunity to discover how an international sport organisation operates.

Tasks will include:
- Business development on various continents
- Project coordination for various projects co-funded by the European Union in the fields of active cities, anti-doping at grassroots level, sport and disability, physical activity and youth
- Project coordination for the 1st TAFISA European Sport for All Games, to take place in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, August 2017
- Development and implementation of our public relations', communication and social media strategy
- Project coordination for multiple-partner projects
- Follow up of day-to-day activities including membership management
- Fundraising activities

Required qualifications: 
- English Level: Fluent, B2 minimum with a first international experience (internship or university exchange) and excellent written and communication skills
- Bachelor degree completed
- Social media and communications
- Interest in non-profit work, sport and physical activity
- A high level of motivation and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
