Internship in University Sports Office

The German University of Technology is seeking an intern to work in its Sports Office.

Requirements

Female and male applicants should hold a bachelor/master degree or equivalent in sports studies and should have experience as an instructor in fitness/dance (Zumba, Yoga e.g.) or should have experience in ball sport (basketball, football/futsal, badminton, e.g.) as an active player or trainer. Furthermore experience in organising sports events and tournaments are desirable. The candidate should speak and write English fluently and hold a First Aid training certificate.

Tasks and responsibilities

The candidate assists the GUtech Sports Office with the organisation and delivery of the university sports programme. According to the candidate’s experience he/she shall conduct fitness courses and/or train ball sport groups on a daily basis. Furthermore the candidate assists the Sports Office with the organisation of internal and external sport tournaments, outdoor tours and events, and assists with administrative tasks (e.g. updating of webpage) related to the functioning of the Sports Office.

Duration

The paid internship shall commence end of August 2017 and has a minimum duration of 5 months. It is preferable, that the candidate is available for the entire Academic Year 17-18, until 31 May 2018.
