Mission 89 is hiring three interns

Mission 89 is a research, education, and advocacy organisation that fights the exploitation of young athletes through social and economic transformation.

Social Media Internship

The Social Media Intern is responsible for coordinating and executing the company’s social media strategy, working across key social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn and the organisation’s website. This role offers the intern a total immersion into a start-up non-profit organisation and the successful candidate will work closely with key board members and external marketing and communications consultants, and learn about social media, digital communications and marketing from industry specialists. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our organisation among institutional and commercial partners and a global public. All below activities are under the supervision of the designated Board Member for Communications.

Marketing Internship

The Marketing Intern supports the management team as a whole, and acts individually in helping Mission 89 position itself as a global player in the advocacy for anti-trafficking measures and laws. This role works closely with the communications team to develop a promotion strategy aimed at engaging with key stakeholders and increasing funding channels.

Research Assistant Internship

The Research Assistant Intern assists in all forms of research and advocacy, providing support to Mission 89’s leadership and Research Partners. The Intern will research information on a range of legal issues that are related to Child Trafficking, Human Rights and Sport Integrity, assisting in the process of drafting documents of advocacy, and contributing to developing the research function of this new NGO.
