Women in Sport Aotearoa (WISPA) is searching for a full-time Programme Director to lead delivery of all global and national programmes, including a World Conference and two domestic summits, along with a number of smaller but equally important, global and national events and key activities.

You will be a senior executive with 7+ years’ experience. You will demonstrate outstanding levels of attention to detail, a commitment to highest quality delivery, and a healthy respect for deadlines.

You will be energetic, enthusiastic and an expert in positive stakeholder relations. You will have exceptional strategic planning and reporting skills (including budget design and expense management), and also, strong experience in managing adherence to health and safety/risk and issues legislation.

You will have an ability to see the ‘big picture’ and know how your programmes support the wider organisational strategy. Experience in marketing and communications and commercial development would be warmly welcomed, along with a passion for and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

At the beginning of this role, you will need to be very hands-on, as the organisation works to grow funding and appoint direct reports, agencies and event resource, reporting into you. You will work hand-in-hand with the WISPA CEO and within a matrix environment, with access to senior and junior volunteers, partners and key stakeholders in support. You will enjoy “getting your hands dirty.”

Second language(s) very welcome (particularly Spanish, French, Chinese dialects, Arabic or Te Reo).
