Project Manager
ENGSO Youth is seeking a project manager to work 20 hours per month, beginning immediately.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- You will work with existing strategic plans to ensure that appropriate activities are planned, managed and delivered in a timely manner
- You will co/coordinate all project phases including reporting requirements for:
- The activities of the Young Delegates network within ENGSO Youth (long-term responsibility)
- The leading projects for the year 2017 (short-term responsibility)
- You will communicate and manage with key internal and external stakeholders
- You will contribute to and/or initiate partnerships, development & EY growth
- You will demonstrate extensive practical capacity of shaping, leading and managing organisational wide projects/programmes along with strong communication skills to foster excellent working relationships and work seamlessly across the Council and with partners
- You will be supporting the Secretary General
Job requirements:
- Thorough knowledge of English (a qualification in a second language can be an advantage)
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to quickly understand processes and needs
- Ability to identify and work with stakeholders to solve challenges and nurture change across the organisation
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the wider team, technical and nontechnical, in business and individual terms
- Ability to understand importance of cross-sectoral cooperation
- Readiness to take an initiative, as well as to follow the team
- Readiness for travelling within Europe (irregular)
- Motivation to work with a voluntary engaged Committee and Young Delegates
- Innovative approach to daily challenges and requirements
- Previous experience managing similar projects across multiple corporate functions could be an advantage as advantage could be also your readiness to learn with us
