The 8th IWG World Conference on Women & Sport is one of the “big four” women’s sport events coming to Aotearoa New Zealand over the next three years, alongside the World Cups in rugby, cricket and football. It is the largest gathering of global experts for gender equality in sport and physical activity and for the first time in it 25-year history, it will be a physical-digital hybrid event.

  • You will have an ability to see the ‘big picture’ and know how your events and activities support the wider strategy. Experience in marketing and communications and commercial development would be welcomed. The role will work in a matrix, with access to volunteers, partners and stakeholders.

WISPA has a deep and full commitment to Te Tiriti of Waitangi and to continually improving its bi-cultural capability. We believe that sport and recreation should be fully inclusive of diverse communities. We welcome applicants with the same commitment and/or from diverse backgrounds.

Second language(s) very welcome (particularly Spanish, French, Chinese, Arabic or Te Reo).
