Business Development Manager

The Business Development (BD) Manager plays an important role in GRS South Africa’s proposal development, donor retention, programme reporting, restricted and unrestricted fundraising for the organisation. The Business Development Manager maintains analysis of the adolescent health/SRHR/HIV funding landscape in South Africa and internationally, actively seeks fundraising opportunities for GRS South Africa, works closely with the Managing Director and Programme Director and Managers on proposal development, and coordinates writing, editing and submission of quarterly and annual grant reports. This position reports directly to GRS South Africa’s Managing Director, works closely with the GRS Global Business Development Team, and is responsible for management of the Business Development and Communications (BDC) Intern. In collaboration with the GRS South Africa Communications Consultant and the Global Communications team, the BD Manager also coordinates the creation of high quality collateral and communications materials, and supports opportunities to advocate for adolescent health in Southern Africa and increase awareness of GRS South Africa.
