Generations For Peace is seeking a Programmes Coordinator and a Senior Programmes Officer.

Generations For Peace is a leading global non-profit peace-building organisation founded by HRH Prince Feisal Al Hussein and Sarah Kabbani in 2007. Dedicated to sustainable conflict transformation at the grassroots, Generations For Peace empowers volunteer leaders of youth to promote active tolerance and responsible citizenship in communities experiencing different forms of conflict and violence.

Programmes Coordinator

Reporting to, guided and directed by the Senior Programmes Officer, the Programmes Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Jordan schools programme team on implementation of the GFP Certification Programme and the Cascading Programmes, in order to maximise positive change and sustainable impact in the GFP Jordan schools programme. The Programme Coordinator will be working with Jordan schools programmes staff, building experience to work with steadily reducing supervision.

Senior Programmes Officer

Reporting to, guided and directed by the Programmes Manager, the Senior Programmes Officer leads on management of Jordan Schools Programme, supporting and mentoring all Jordan Schools Programmes staff in their development, and their supporting and mentoring of lead volunteer Delegates/Pioneers, builds relationships with donors and partners and works closely with the Jordan Programmes M&E Officer and Coordinator on the monitoring and evaluation of the programmes, and with the communications team. The Senior Programmes Officer also promotes and supports horizontal learning across Jordan Schools Programmes Staff and Delegates/Pioneers in Jordan.
