Jobs available:

1. Campaigns Officer

We’re looking for a Campaigns Officer to join our growing Campaigns and Engagement team. It’s a really exciting time to join the charity as we build on the success of the last few years and look to broaden our reach and influence in both the sport and charitable sectors and beyond.

The purpose of this role is to understand and support Women in Sport’s vision, mission, strategy and values and to advocate these externally to potential funders and key stakeholders.

The Campaigns Officer will play an important part in supporting Women in Sport’s communications and campaigns activities, helping to promote the charity and its impact to a wide range of audiences, including professionals in the sport, health and education sectors, funding bodies, government and policymakers and the general public.

It is an ideal role for someone who is looking to gain in-house communications experience in an exciting and growing charity, and offers the successful candidate an opportunity to learn and practice the skills needed to forge a successful career in the charity and/or sport sector.  Previous post holders have gone on to work in journalism for Four Four Two and in PR for Clipper’s sailing team.

This is a full time, permanent role.

2. Insight Officer

The Insight Officer will report to and work closely with the Senior Insight and Policy Manager. You will help us ensure Women in Sport maintains its position as the UK’s foremost expert in women’s sport and the way in which women and girls relate to sport & physical activity.  From consumer insight to market oversight, the evidence-base for all of Women in Sport’s work must be robust and persuasive – you will play a key role in achieving this.

We are looking for someone who will help deliver our insight and research – from undertaking interviews and helping to facilitate focus groups, through to managing research companies who are delivering insight and research on our behalf. The role will be varied and fast paced, working with a range of stakeholders to help deliver high quality insight.

This is a full time, contract role for 11 months.

How to apply:

If you feel inspired to come and work with us, please submit a covering letter (maximum 2 sides A4) and detailed CV to [email protected]. The covering letter should explain why this role interests you and how your experience addresses the criteria as set out in the job description. We look forward to hearing from you.
