Yunus Sports Hub: Program Manager
In collaboration with the International Olympic Committee, and PyeongChang 2018 Legacy Foundation,the Yunus Sports Hub designed a social business concept leveraging the legacy of Pyeongchang 2018 Venues to create attractiveness, diversify the tourism offer and generate economic opportunities for the local community in Pyeongchang and its region, in a self sustainable way
We’re currently searching for an experienced program manager to work alongside the Yunus Sport Hub Team. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in social business/social enterprise and a proven ability to strategize and implement local initiatives. As a natural born leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination of social business initiatives in PyeongChang (Korea).
Mission A: Set-up, lead and management a sport and social business center in PyeongChang
- Set up the social business
- Recrute and lead the team
- Manage the day to day operation
Mission B: Lead and delivery a Program For Youth and Athlete in PyeongChang
- Submit a funding request to the government
- Design and deliver the program
- Recrute the team
- Manage the day to day operation
Mission C: Business development support
- Provide business support to social entrepreneurs including mentoring, acceleration, access to funding,
Skills and qualifications
- Relevant experience in social business/social enterprise
- 5+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those with program management experience)
- Great leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Excellent command of Korea (both written and spoken) and English
- Experience working in a deadline-driven environment, with ability to quickly identify problems and solve them
- Legal experience in setting up businesses in Korea
