At Golden Girls Sports Centre in Mogadishu, Somalia, we empower young girls who are passionate about football.

For the first time ever Somalia female football players are trained by the organisation. The photos below are tournaments we held for the girls to feel empowered, and show the talent they have. It’s a way they empower other girls with the same talent who are afraid to express themselves.

We want to show the world that women in sports is part of the country’s development and thus we believe women and girls have the right to participate in any kind of sports because it’s part of education, health and much more. Empowering girls through sports is a way forward to community development. Every girl and woman has the right to participate in every sector of sports without disrespecting her religion and culture.
