East Africa Community Coach Education System (EACCES)

Launched following the East Africa Cup in June 2011, EACCES aims to provide a coach education and development framework within East Africa sport and development agencies.

The EACCES initiative focuses partly on maximising coach development opportunities at the annual East Africa Cup. The wider aim of the project is to establish a system to recognise, coordinate and support the on-going training and development of community coaches in the region.

The EACCES is more about standardisation than duplicating existing training, highlighting what training is appropriate for coaches with different levels of experience and recognising this across organisations in East and Central Africa.
