A consultant, policy adviser and strategist who has worked with multiple inter-governmental bodies, government agencies, NGOs and sporting organisations.
Ollie Dudfield is a sport and development policy advisor and strategist. He recently completed a multi-year posting at the Commonwealth Secretariat leading Commonwealth-wide sport for development and peace (SDP) projects and policy advisory work. Ollie joined the Secretariat from UK Sport where he was the international development manager within the organisation’s sport for development team. He entered the sector following a career as a professional basketball coach and coach educator during which he held national-level roles in Australia and New Zealand.
Over his career Ollie has worked with multiple inter-governmental bodies, government agencies, NGOs and sporting organisations on strengthening sport and development policy, strategy and capacity building systems. He is a co-author of the Commonwealth Guide to Advancing Development through Sport and has served on multiple sport and development advisory panels and inter-agency working groups.
He is currently based in Australia undertaking advisory roles in the Pacific region.
