ChildFund Sport for Development partners to provide children and young people with opportunities to play, learn, and lead.

The ChildFund Sport for Development Team also works with sports partners around the globe to ensure that the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults in sport is a priority.

ChildFund Sport for Development — MEL for Impact Officer

As the ChildFund Sport for Development (S4D) MEL Officer you will support global operations to: i) coordinate with partners to ensure project monitoring and evaluation; ii) support project reporting and; iii) provide training support.

Key Duties

Partnership Support

  • Coordinate and support partners to effectively deploy the S4D M&E Framework to agreed protocols;
  • Provide capacity strengthening support for implementing partners, including sourcing specific expertise within and outside the organisation;
  • Ensure Measuring Change reporting requirements are met by the partner.

Program Implementation Support

  • Ensure timely and accurate data collection and management in-line with M&E Plan;
  • Coordinate data aggregation and analysis for reporting and learning;
  • Support output and qualitative data reports as part of partner reporting requirements;
  • Attend and contribute to monthly team and partner meetings.

Technical Support

  • Develop a detailed understanding of S4D theory of change, logic models, and tools and protocols;
  • Maintain and update all tools and protocols across all languages, ensuring partner access across all platforms;
  • Coordinate evaluations and research activities as required;
  • Contribute to research and learning papers;
  • Learn to effectively use Salesforce for data management and reporting purposes, as well as for supporting partner activities;
  • Coordinate evidence-base across relevant platforms.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant university qualification or equivalent experience;
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience;
  • International donor reporting experience;
  • Experience working with divers partners
  • Online reporting systems experience, with Salesforce experience an advantage;
  • Practical use of online / app-based quantitative and qualitative data collection tools
  • Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of children’s rights and participation in practice;
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages an advantage.

You are expected to remain alert and responsive to any child safeguarding and Sexual Exploitation, Abuse or Harassment (SEAH) risks and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with Child Safeguarding and Prevention of SEAH Policies.
