Women Win is looking for a Senior Administration & Impact Programme Specialist to carry out monitoring, evaluation and learning and impact measurement responsibilities for Win Win Strategies. Deadline: 20 January 2023.

The work of Win-Win Strategies (WWS) focuses on catalysing solutions and building a movement to systemic change for women’s economic resilience (WER). This includes creating an enabling environment for grassroots women’s rights organisations to access funds to implement holistic WER initiatives. In addition, this area of work concentrates on inspiring and influencing decision-making and exploring innovative approaches to WER.

WWS is looking for a Senior Administration & Impact Programme Specialist who will support the Brand in an administrative capacity and carry out monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and impact measurement responsibilities across the entire Brand. This is a very exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be involved in different areas of the work of WWS. This role requires strong internal coordination, effective administrative skills, and high quality project management skills as it spans both the WWS Brand and the Learn team.

This role also requires existing experience in MEL and impact measurement, given the complexity of some of the larger programmes within WWS, namely the Building Bridges for Women’s Economic Empowerment programme funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Senior Programme Specialist reports to the WWS Programme Manager and is a core team member of the WWS team and Learn team.

Core accountabilities

SUPPORT ADMINISTRATIVE AND PROGRAMMATIC WORK (50%)

  • Implement efficient and high-quality administrative processes, including processing contracts, taking notes during internal and external meetings, creating & managing work plans, designing templates to support processes, and manage Box folder and structure (including attention to digital security).
  • Uphold and improve grantmaking procedures, including but not limited to due diligence procedures, grant agreements, and systems (e.g., Salesforce & DocuSign), to ensure grantmaking is efficient and appropriate to funder requirements and grantee’s needs.
  • Support Brand communications including writing (proposals, reports etc.), copy editing, formatting, and uploading documents, contributing to external-facing communications and preparing content for social as required. 

MONITORING, EVALUATING AND LEARNING (MEL) (40%)

  • Support the MEL tool development and programmatic data collection for WWS, ensuring best practices in decolonised and feminist approaches, knowledge management, collective impact, digital solutions and technical rigor.
  • Monitor partners’ needs and capacity in relation to MEL. Provide ongoing support and training through meetings, workshops, webinars, etc.
  • Coordinate reporting processes for internal purposes, annual reporting and other planned or ad-hoc monitoring requirements.
  • Capture, distil and visualise key results, learnings and on-the-field stories for internal and external communications. Present data analysis to funders when requested.
  • Carry out organisational data collection and reporting on WW metrics (e.g. organisational or WWS brand KPIs, Theory of Action) related to WWS and facilitate internal feedback loops.
  • As part of the WWS brand, coordinate with the Learn team to ensure internal knowledge transfer and learning within and between work streams as it relates to MEL tools, programmatic impact findings, risks, and challenges.
  • Support with the administration of WW's Salesforce System as requested, particularly in relationship to the needs of WWS.

MISCELLANEOUS (10%)

  • Support special projects such as tool/resources development and research to support the movement building work of the WWS team. 

Education - Experience and skill requirements

Education: at least a university degree in a relevant field.

Experience: In addition to Programme Specialist level competencies (as described above), the WWS Snr. Programmes Specialist should: 

  • Have at least 1-2 years’ work experience in women’s rights or international development. 
  • Have at least 2 years of solid experience in MEL and impact measurement.
  • Display a solid understanding of international non-profit organisations, grassroots organisations and the women’s rights movement.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to convene cross cultural and multi-stakeholder groups, moving them towards shared objectives.
  • Be tech savvy and have excellent listening, written and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with others, especially digitally and in a remote setting.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and project management skills as this role requires a high-level of coordination between many stakeholders. 

Travel: Ability and willingness to travel approximately 15% of the time. This includes ensuring availability to attend Women Win in-person team meetings and retreats.

Location: Candidate is expected to work mainly CET hours, but home base is flexible.

Working hours: Full time position (40 hours).

Salary: Commensurate with experience (job band W2).

Languages: English fluency - orally and in writing - required. Other languages: Dutch, Spanish, French very desirable.
