PhD student Ran Grünenfelder invites you to take this survey exploring whether sport could be an effective tool to promote peace in divided post-conflict societies, and if so, to what extent?

Sport as an instrument for peacebuilding

In recent years the sport-peace linkage has received unprecedented attention. A lot of NGOs took initiatives to install peacebuilding projects with sport activities as a peacebuilding tool. Such peacebuilding projects focus on bringing together former enemies in friendly sporting settings and thus to facilitate the process of post-conflict reconciliation. This survey explores the question whether sport could be an effective tool to promote peace in divided post-conflict societies, and if so, to what extent?

Answering the questions normally takes no longer than 10 minutes.

The results of this survey are expected to be published in 2019 as part of my dissertation. The anonymity of your answers is guaranteed. Thank you very much for your participation and I will be happy to answer your questions at any time.
