The ORF is seeking consultancy support to identify, map and collate existing tools and resources that provide support for practitioners looking to work with young refugees using sport as a developmental tool.

The Olympic Refuge Foundation (ORF) is initiating a Request for Quotation (RFQ) procedure to support its work.

The Olympic Refuge Foundation - an independent international non-profit - was founded by the International Olympic Committee in 2017. The Olympic Refuge Foundation believes in a society where everyone belongs, through sport and is working to promote knowledge, understanding and uptake of sport as a tool to support the protection and inclusion of young people affected by displacement; particularly in relation to the interface of sport with mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS).

The ORF is seeking consultancy support to identify, map and collate existing tools and resources that provide practical guidance and support for practitioners looking to employ sport and physical activity as an approach to supporting mental health and psychosocial well-being in programming with young people affected by displacement.

The consultancy will take place in the period from mid-October – December 2021. Initially, all interested and suitably skilled providers should contact [email protected] to express their interest and request further documentation by 20 August 2021.

The RFQ deadline is 10 September 2021.
