South East District Youth Empowerment League (SEDYEL)

SEDYEL’s goal is to create a fully committed and informed nation that is capable of effectively dealing with HIV/AIDS and other socio-economic issues. With the help of sports, information and education, they aim to develop young people’s personal skills to empower and support them on their way towards being responsible and creative citizens in future community development.

SEDYEL runs district-wide, community-led football leagues (including 73 male and 27 female teams) and tournaments in five
