Tim is a Teacher and Researcher at Plymouth University (UK) where he works within Primary Physical Education. Previously he worked for five years as a Senior Lecturer, Early Years/ Primary (F-10) 'Health & Physical Education' in the Faculty of Education at Monash University (Australia). Tim has fifteen years teaching experience as a classroom teacher (Queensland, Australia), Head of Foundation Stage and Key Stage One (English International School, Qatar) and Health and Physical Education specialist teacher (Queensland, Australia), in various school communities and education systems. This is his eighth year working full time as a teacher/researcher in higher education.
Sports have been my biggest passion since childhood. I believe sports can change the world. I am trying to make an Impact of positive child & Youth development, Girls empowerment and life skills development of the disabled person in Bangladesh with my little knowledge about sports through organisation Sports for Hope and Independence (SHI)
I work for GHD as Program Manager for the Australian Government's flagship Sport for Development program, the Pacific Sports Partnerships. As part of this role I also sit on the Steering Board of the International Platform on Sport and Development, acting on behalf of the Australian Government's investment. Additionally I am a Founding and current Board Member of the Vanuatu Rugby League, Organising Committee Member of the 2018 Rugby League Emerging Nations World Championship, while also being an Academic in the Sport Management program at Western Sydney University.
