I volunteered and worked for SCORE in Namibia and SCORE South Africa for 4 years and was a trainer with the Kicking AIDS Out! Network, before completing a MSc in Management and Implementation of Development Projects at University of Manchester. Currently, I am a project/program manager in health care research in Canada, and continue to support SCORE through volunteer work.

Born and grew up in Lagos Nigeria in a family of 3 siblings. Got involved with sport for development at the age of 16 with Search & Groom Youth for Development Centre in Lagos Nigeria. Moved on to youth leadership camp, hosted by the United Nations Office on Sport for Development and Peace in Germany, currently on a sport studies pathway at the University of Worcester.

I started to work for Football for All in Vietnam (FFAV) as an interpreter; the more I work for the project, the more I love the work we are doing together in using football as a tool for development. I, therefore, develop my commitment and motivation to learn to do more for the children in Vietnam. I am now the head of Communication Department of FFAV and be with FFAV for more than 8 years.

Datchanamoorthy a name that has left imprints in the books of Indian Human Rights Education; today is an iconic leader who has raised eyebrows in India with his visionary outlook for the state. Known for his crusading efforts demanding the compulsory Human Rights Education in the country, DatchanaMoorthy is a man on a fanatic mission to make India a model nation to the world. A great idealist wrote that people are born with equal rights. Then thousands of people cynically and sagaciously criticized it. Some diligently tried to make it real. It’s a paradox, but both the second ones - with their determined belief, and those who were unsparingly criticizing contributed that the idea, even slowly, but started to get formed in the minds of people and nations. As a Human Rights Defender, I believe that people’s equality before the law is the most important principal; because I know that it’s the basis of jurisprudence. As a practical person, I also know that Human Rights Education is needed to develop peace and self security. As a realist, I have no doubt that on a way of implementing these human rights in reality life. But as an optimist I believe that “the drop taps the stone”. And finally as a humanist, I completely agree with some other idealist
