Was a soccer player, and a leader of the Mathare Youth Sports Association (MYSA). Mathare is a sprawling slum in Nairobi, and host to some of Kenya's most difficult challenges with urban youth that arise from rampant poverty, including starvation, homelessness, unemployment, HIV/AIDS, and violence, among other problems. MYSA has used sports to provide hope to several of these youth, some of whom are now on athletic and academic scholarships in universities across the world. Mathare United FC, a team formed from youth in these slums, is now one of Kenya's best soccer teams, and contributes a majority of players to the national team, Harambee Stars.

We create nonprofit/for-profit partnerships, design marketing campaigns and corporate social responsibility programs, and help sports entrepreneurs grow their business through the triple bottom line philosophy of people - planet - profit.
