Studied Physical Education and Sport at the Universty of Cologne, Germany. Three times world recordholder of the 440yh (Track & Field) and elected Athlete of the Century in 2000. Established the first Olympic Academy in South Africa in 1989. Wrote several sport publications on Athletics Coaching and Olympic Education. Currently President of the Gauteng North Sport Council and Executive member of the Olympic Commission of SASCOC.
Sarah Forde is a writer and development professional with experience in grass roots sports and development programming, gender and social justice. She currently works independently advising groups on organisational development, gender programming, M&E. Her research interest lies in the sexual and reproductive health of teenage girls and the impact of sports participation on their adolescent experiences.
Graduated in Physical Education by the School of Physical Education and Sport at the Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and Especialist in adolescence by the Centre for Care and Support for Adolescents of Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP). Currently doing a Master Degree in Physical Activity Promotion at the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC).

Tariq Mohammed is a certified squash coach who has played and coached squash at several elite prep schools, colleges and universities in the United States. During 2003-2004, he served as a United Nations Volunteer in Uganda to foster peace and human development. He has a Masters in Education with a specialization in coaching.

I am Malanga Jeff Mposha who is the founder of LifeSkills Development Foundation which a Zambia NGO focusing on using the mobising power of sport to address social development issues affecting young people in our target communities. Among the social development issues that are addressed include Sexual Reproductive Health Rights Education for Adolescent boys, girls and women, HIV/AIDS, Youth Unemployment and Youth Leadership Development. Kate Placide (Cowan)
I understand the value of positive programming for children, and am a strong believer that positive active programming - develops positive people. I also have a strong passion to engage students within our communities and providing youth an opportunity to grow through community engaged learning. I worked in the field of sport and development from 2005 - 2011, first as a Commonwealth Games of Canada intern placed with TTASPE, and then as the Director of Development with the IAYS and as a monitoring and evaluation consultant for a UNICEF Child Rights project in Trinidad and Tobago. Currently I am working as the Global Community Engaged Learning Coordinator at Western University in London, Ontario.
