fairplay, the initiative for diversity and antidiscrimimation was kicked off by the Vienna Institute for International Dialogue and Cooperation (VIDC) in 1997. The fairplay innitiave has worked closely with key football and sport stakeholders such as assocations, clubs, fans, players as well as migrant and refugee organisations in order to address exclusion and promote equality and respect in the game. fairplay is a founding member of the network Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE), which has established in 1999 in Vienna, Austria.We work closely with key (football) institutions including UEFA, FIFA, European Commission, Council of Europe, FIFPro and many national bodies in Austria and in the Western balkans.
Jason is a consultant with ICF International focusing on supporting community and economic development programs with the U.S Federal government. Jason began his career in higher education administration at the University of Florida and Christopher Newport University, where he worked to develop recreational sport and collegiate athletic programs and services before joining the non-profit sector in 2008.
Rye Barcott graduated with a B.A. in Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a Triangle Institutes for Security Studies Millennium Fellow and a Burch Fellow. While an undergraduate at UNC, Rye founded CFK in Kenya with Salim Mohamed and the late Tabitha Atieno Festo, who each shared the conviction that the poor have the solutions to the problems they face.
Christopher joined the Changemakers Team in 2010. He is responsible for launching editorial and Web monetization strategies, including marketing and advertising operations infrastructure, working with engineering on product releases, and managing relationships with industry partners. Christopher's goal is to further the dialogue among changemakers. Communication is where true changemaking starts.
JD Walsh Involved with basketball for over 30 years, JD walsh received honorable mention as McDonald's HS All American, played at theUniversity of Maryland, and also played professionally in Europe. JD primarily trains and coaches the students of his basketball school with top NBA and ,Euroleague and college coached. Walsh has extensive experience working as a 'diplomatic speaker' with the US State Department throughout the Persian Gulf and Southeast Asian Regions.

Trans-nzoia Youth Sports Association (TYSA) is a leading not for profit Community Based Organization delivering valued based sports programmes in Kenya. Founded in 2001 by 12 community members, TYSA endeavours to Inspire and Empower Young People to develop knowledge, skills and their status by increasingly exposing them to sports, education, training, Reproductive Health and livelihood opportunities. Governed by a commensurate constitution and Managed by an astute Management board, TYSA’s leadership is visionary and committed. Its strongest pillar has been a wide base of over 50 volunteers from cross-cutting professional fields. From a humble beginning of six beneficiaries, TYSA has grown to serving 112 direct beneficiaries while over 5,000 access our outreach services annually. TYSA works in the larger Trans-nzoia County with a total population of over 800,000. TYSA has managed to

Dr. Nico Schulenkorf is Associate Professor for Sport Management at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). His research focuses on the social, cultural and psychological outcomes of sport projects, and in particular the role of sport in contributing to social development within and between disadvantaged communities. For the past 15 years, Nico has been involved in implementing and evaluating sport-for-development and health promotion programs in countries such as Sri Lanka, Israel and the Pacific Islands. Nico is Co-Founder and Co-Editor of the Journal of Sport for Development (JSFD).
