Mapping

Mapping

Developing a map or flowchart can make processes easily understandable and assist with the adherence to policies. A child protection and safeguarding map provides a visual outline of how, who and what to do in various scenarios. The following links provide you with good examples of such mapping:

  • flowchart on “How to raise a concern or report an abuse”
  • A flowchart on “Responding to child abuse” (see page five)
  • Some information on “Recognising and responding to concerns”
