Code of conduct

Code of conduct

A code of conduct explicitly articulates acceptable behaviour and is typically produced as a separate document for each of the key stakeholders, for example, children, coaches, volunteers and parents.

Often it is compulsory to agree to a code of conduct by signing it before participating in any activities offered by the organisation. The code of conduct should be prominently displayed somewhere where it can be referred to on a regular basis, for example on a wall or a notice board.

Many of the policy documents include a code of conduct. Code of conducts can also be written as separate documents.
