Anujaya Krishna
Currently working as a lawyer in India. I was most recently associated with the Sports Law team of a prominent law firm in Singapore. Selected in the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Young Ambassadors Programme 2016-17 and 2017-18. Authored a book entitled 'Sports Law' (published by Universal Publishers) and contributed to the Handbook on Sports Law (published by Satyam Law International). I love to write and put my skills to good use for the development of sport.
Lawyer who is keenly interested in Sports Law since college, and have several publications to my credit, in national journals as well as in international ones, such as the journal of the International Association of Sports Law, Greece.
Completed an integrated Bachelor’s degree (B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)) from National Law Institute University, Bhopal and pursued a Master’s in Law from the University of Hamburg through the Jawaharlal Nehru Award for International Understanding-Dr. Angela Merkel Scholarship awarded by the DAAD. My Bachelor’s thesis focused on Sports Law in India while my Master’s thesis was based on a comparison of the governance of sports leagues in Europe and in India.
I hope to get opportunities to be involved in Sport and Development activities through this platform.
