I studied Information and Communication Technology before focusing on development studies. I completed my Master’s thesis about the involvement of the World Bank in Extractive Industries.
Since then, I’ve tried to combine ways through which information technologies can be used to contribute to development. I find it particularly interesting to reflect on how organisations with limited resources can benefit from technological innovation.
I’m also a passionate basketball fan, player and coach.
I worked for the Swiss Academy for Development (SAD) from 2006-2011, co-managing the sportanddev platform, carrying out research, and coordinating three conferences in this field.
During that time, I also worked for SCORE, IMBEWU, and MYSA, providing support in the area of online communication.
I recently joined the Swiss Federal Office for Migration, and remain closely related to the field of sport and development.
