I teach project management, entrepreneurship, and innovation within the sport industry at Sport Sciences School of Rio Maior and I lead Sportup, the school's innovation and entrepreneurship in sport program. I'm currently engaged in a PhD program in management at the University of Évora, and my research focus is entrepreneurship education.
Curious by default, I try to entertain a (near-unsustainable) spectrum of interests, ranging from 'obscure' project management and work practices like Scrum - I'm a CSM/CSPO - and Kanban, soon-to-become-mainstream entrepreneurship concepts like Effectuation or the Lean Startup approach, in-the-making frameworks like Design Thinking and Service Design, or simple ideas like: 'how to make (almost) anything?': Personal Digital Fabrication.
I've led the first 7 years of a sport-driven youth development program in a small community undergoing a major process of urban regeneration, in Cascais, Portugal.
