The mission of the U.S. Soccer Foundation is to enhance, assist and grow the sport of soccer in the United States with a special emphasis on underserved communities. We view soccer as a powerful vehicle for social change. By supporting the development of places to play, places to grow and places to learn, our goal is to ensure that children in underserved communities have easy and affordable access to quality soccer programs that support their physical and personal development.

Krista Washington's Biography
Krista Washington joined the U.S. Soccer Foundation in October 2011 after working as the Marketing Assistant at USA Football. Prior to her stint at USA Football, she worked with Soccer United Marketing, helping to execute sponsorship activation plans for Mexican National Team games played in the U.S. Krista also worked in the Events Division at Competitor Group, Inc. and was the Marketing and Promotions Assistant for the Villanova University Athletics Department.
Krista received her M.B.A. in Sports Management from San Diego State University and holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Exercise/Sport Science-Sports Administration and Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
