I am a specialist in using sport as a tool for community development. My areas of expertise include partnership development, and using participatory approaches for program design and communication. My experience managing the Australian government’s sport for development portfolio is supported by a practical background in designing and implementing programs in Nepal (Special Olympics), India (Australian Sports Outreach Program) and seven countries in the Pacific region with a range of sport and development partners. I have a particular interest in communication for behaviour change and am regular consultant for the World Health Organisation. I hold a Masters of International and Community Development from Deakin University (Melbourne, Australia) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement Studies from the University of Queensland.
