Malcolm Dingwall-Smith
I have worked in sport at local, national and now international level - with experiences ranging from local club development to policy and evaluation. I am currently seconded from my job as Partnership Manager at sportscotland to the Commonwealth Secretariat. I have a Masters in International Politics, have volunteered at the Olympics and Commonwealth Games, and am actively involved with a human rights NGO.
Sport for Development and Peace is the focus of my role at the Commonwealth Secretariat, with the aim of providing advice and guidance to member governments in how to use sport to achieve their developmental aims. Core to this is a belief that integrating sport into national development policies can influence programming and positively impact on the lives of millions of people across the Commonwealth.
